ARK FUNDING

ARK couldn’t make an impact without support. Grants and donations, along with hiring out our space and ticket and bar sales, support ARK’s programming,  the improvement and maintenance of our building and the work we do with our local communities.

ARK partners with those who share our values and work towards achieving our mission. In addition to a rich cultural programme, ARK aims to positively impact our diverse neighborhood as well as the community in Margate, Thanet, and beyond.

As a registered charity, ARK undertakes reasonable due diligence of donors within our capacity to ensure they do not hold views or engage in activities that might be incompatible with our role and potentially damage our reputation. Regarding donations, we ensure that any gift is safe to accept and that doing so is in the best interests of the charity.

75% of our funding comes from trusts and foundations such as Arts Council England and Kent Community Foundation, with the remainder of our funds made up of donations from individuals, hiring our space, ticket and bar sales, and fundraising events.​​
